Coming This Weekend - The 100 BEST Songs of the Decade (2010-2019)

Triple J also announced today they will do a Hottest 100 of the Decade. Not to mention Triple J will run their annual countdown for the year just gone, 2019.

With just over ten million views, Amy Shark's Adore was one of the biggest tunes in 2016. What number will the song come in at this weekend?

Album of the Year Nomination #1 - Halsey - Manic

Only a few weeks ago it was time to reveal Billie Eilish's superb debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was the 2019 Album of the Year, now it's time to kick off the 2020 race.

This year's Album of the Year will also be announced on New Year's Eve, this year New Year's falls on a Thursday.

So here is your first big nomination for 2020, Halsey and her third record, Manic.

Following 2017's Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, Halsey has continued on with a bi pop record. The first single actually dropped all the way back in 2018, Without Me. On January 9, 2019 the single received a refresh with the late, great Juice WRLD featuring on the remix.

Following the brilliant Without Me (the song came in at number 41 for my best tunes of 2018) we got another five teaser singles.

Graveyard got a live Australian performance at the ARIA's late last year whilst the album features a pile of stellar guests including Alanis Morissette, Suga of BTS and Dominic Pike, alongside production from Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Greg Kurstin, Lido and so many more!

It's already an exciting year for new music, we already have a stellar album from Halsey, she even gave back to the bushfire victims with a show over summer.

2020 has had it's biggest new music day thus far. Friday 17 January, 2020 saw some of the worlds biggest artists release new albums, singles, even EP's.

First up a sneak peak at next week's exciting feature album from Halsey, with Manic. It's a huge new record with a number of tunes already familiar with fans worldwide.

Halsey has had a huge few years, toured Australia as part of the Falls Festival and helped raised some cash for bushfire victims. With a load of guests of the record, this album is set to be huge for Halsey.

A surprise new album from Eminem out does Halsey with even more guests. From Ed Sheeran to Anderson Paak., Music To Be Murdered By landed yesterday. What a start to 2020!

Bombay Bicycle Club also dropped Everything Else Has Gone Wrong whilst Mura Masa released a fairly patchy however at times brilliant new disc, RYC (Raw Youth College).

Finally Magic Dirt re-released their 1994 EP Life Was Better and keeping it local Hayley Mary (The Jezebels) released an EP, The Piss, The Perfume.
