Sunday Spotlight: Ta-Ku & Wafia

So these two joined forces as part of Vivd recently and they have just dropped a new EP, it's Wafia from Brisbane and Ta-Ku from Perth.

These two and up and coming artists have created great music on their own and now as a sensational double act. Wafia and Thomston from NZ also blew my speakers with there beautiful tune Window Seat. Ta-Ku has an impressive remix resume with Alunageogre, Banks, The Presets and more already on the books.

Let's chill this sunday with some Future Classic beats. Well done you two talented young up starts!

Sunday Spotlight: Angus Stone (Dope Lemon)

Angus Stone has been a celebrated member of the Australian music scene since 2006 with his sister Julia Stone. He in 2009 released an album under Lady of the Sunshine and a solo album as Angus Stone in 2012.

Recently we saw a new project pop up Dope Lemon. Honey Bones is the debut and it follows on from 3 successful Angus & Julia Stone releases.

Let's take some time this Sunday to chill with the sweet Northern Beaches sounds of Angus Stone and the many forms this comes in.

Bob Evans on Double J covers a great little tune HERE. Double J has also shared my Feature Album this week which came out yesterday in-store and online.

Now completely off topic and sharing new music, Christina Aguilera has shared the below tune in reaction to Orlando.

As a gay male Christina I thank you, as a gay male I also thank Kevin Mitchell/Bob Evans for helping me through high school. Jebediah anthems like Leaving Home and Military Strongmen were my anthems in my high school days.

The world needs music and positivity these days and I believe Bob Evans and this new tune from Christina are proof there is HOPE out there.
