Sunday Spotlight: Seeker Lover Keeper

** Sunday Spotlight returns September 8th **

Next week I'll publish the 20 biggest bangers of Winter 2019 so for now here is the last Sunday Spotlight of Winter and what a trio to feature, Seeker Lover Keeper.

Sarah Blasko, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby formed their super trio in 2010, releasing a simply beautiful debut self titled album the following year.

The album went on to sell excess of 70,000 copies going platinum in Australia whilst peaking at number three on the Australian album chart.

I was lucky enough to see the trio tour at Sydney's Factory Theatre, I still remember that electric night. The ladies put on a sensational show and honestly I thought we would receive a second album way sooner than August, 2019.

Anyhoo Wild Seeds is finally here, along with some more famous faces in the groups music videos. 

So here it is Wild Seeds to stream, some of the favourites from the debut and a cut each from the ladies individual solo careers.

Tones And I Makes it to Number One!

A huge feat for 2019 new artist of the year Tones And I, number one on the ARIA Charts with Dance Monkey. The first Aussie number one for 2019, which is half of what we had in 2018 and a big improvement on 2017 which saw no Australian artists get a number one single in a whole calendar year. Read a truly terrifying article HERE about Australian music and it's lack of support in recent years. Thank god for Triple J, Double J and Triple J Unearthed.

Triple J Unearthed actually is where Tones And I first started out. You can actually download and keep all three of here songs by visiting her profile right now, DO IT!

So to celebrate a great new talent making it all the way to topping the charts, here are the tracks Tones And I has released thus far. Later this month a six track EP (The Kids Are Coming) will be yours to stream and love as much as Dance Monkey, Johnny Run Away and my favourite, the latest Never Seen The Rain.
