Winning the BBC of Sound in 2012, 32 year old Michael Samuel Kiwanuka released his third record on Friday, Kiwanuka.
Originating from Muswell Hill, London, Kiwanuka first got on my radar from a little TV show called Big Little Lies where his track Cold Little Heart is featured in the sensational opening credits.
His music has featured on a number of series including Seven Seconds, The Get Down, Grace & Frankie, Dear White People and When They See Us. Whilst also featuring as himself in the film Yesterday.
So it's Sunday so who else than Michael Kiwanuka can help us chill on Sunday. If you haven't heard any of his work by now, do yourself a favour and get your ears around this.
