Amy Shark slayed in 2018, this year the women in music continued to impress, from Tones & I to Billie Eilish, it really was the year of women in music.
So it's no stretch that Billie Eilish's divine record When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? is this years Album of the Year.
All the singles were here You Should See Me in a Crown, When the Party's Over, Bury a Friend, Wish You Were Gay, Bad Guy, All the Good Girls Go to Hell, Come Out and Play and When I Was Older.
The album has been all over end of year album of 2019 lists, from Variety to Pitchfork, Billboard to Rolling Stone and Richard Kingsmill plus the Triple J's album of the year.
Yes it was the year of Billie, from touring to live TV/Award performances, here is hoping her 2020 to Where Do We Go? World Tour arrives in Australia!
At 18, Billie is at the top of her game. I don't usually include content for the Album of the Year announce, however this edition of Carpool Karaoke with Billie, basically sums up her amazing she is.
