Sunday Spotlight: Luca Brasi

Luca Brasi hail from St Helens, Tasmania. Thomas Busby, Danny Flood, Patrick Marshall and Tyler Richardson form the group back in 2009.

Recently the group released their fifth studio album, Everything Is Tenuous. Last night when the ARIA top 50 album chart was published, Everything Is Tenuous debuted at number seven. Huge effort. This follows The Rubens (current feature album) debuting at number one, The Kid Laroi achieving gold sales status at number four whilst international megastars like Foo Fights, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles and The Weeknd dominate the remaining top seven spots.

Their previous albums include Extended Family (2011), By a Thread (2014), If This Is All We're Going to Be (2016) and Stay (2018).

Luca Brasi are currently signed to Cooking Vinyl Australia, whilst in the past (pre COVID) touring with the likes of Violent Soho, Pup, You Me at Six, Turnover and Pianos Become the Teeth.

The four piece have also performed at St Jerome's Laneway Festival, Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival. So this fine (warm in Sydney) Sunday discover a new Aussie talent. Continue to support the amazing Australian music scene. Right now, The Rubens, Amy Shark, The Kid Laroi, Tones and I and now Luca Brasi are slaying it, hard!
