Monday Spotlight: Pendulum

** Sorry for the delay, lockdown Sydney delays this week. Tomorrow Doja Cat's new album will officially be posted as this weeks delightful feature album **

Pendulum formed back in 2002, originally formed in the city of Perth, WA, by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul "El Hornet" Harding.

Immersion was released mid 2010, since it's been a while since a full album from the crew. However recently we got the tasty EP Elemental from the drum and bass crew.

Following the crew forming, Pendulum expanded to include members Ben Mount, Peredur ap Gwynedd and KJ Sawka. Members Swire and McGrillen also formed the electro house duo Knife Party.

In 2003, Swire, McGrillen and Harding relocated to the United Kingdom.

The debut studio album, Hold Your Colour, was released in 2005 to positive critical reception. While Hold Your Colour was mostly of the drum and bass genre, the groups later two albums In Silico and Immersion saw the groups genres experiment with industrial rock and electronic rock.

Pendulum are the ultimate party starting crew. They have even remixed the iconic ABC news theme and the Prodigy. So with two weeks of lockdown/Stay at Home orders Sydney, crank up some Pendulum to make these winter weeks fly by.
