So correction, doing Grit Strength on Tuesday evening got me excited for new music for Vic Mensa. If you have done Grit before, you'd know the warm up tune for that release is the classic Down On My Luck, I featured HERE.
His album Victor landed late 2023. It's actually all about Scott Mescudi, AKA Kid Cudi next week. His latest album, INSANO dropped on Friday. Like Vic Mensa, Kid Cudi has had many hits over the years, also landing himself a Grit warm up tune with Surfin' a few years back.
There are loads of guests on the record too. From Travis Scott, ASAP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Young Thug, Lil Wayne, XXXTentacion and Pharrell Williams, to hip hop legend, DJ Drama.
So from tomorrow it's all about Kid Cudi. I also may have another couple of Summer Music Lists before Australia wakes up at the end of January.
