WOW! is all I can say! I was lucky enough to check out TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, this past week. The show is now playing at Theatre Royal Sydney and is headed to Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne.
During the musical, you can experience the inspiring life story of Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock n’ Roll, she really was, simply the best!
The critics are calling it “a rock music spectacular” (Limelight) and “breathtakingly exciting” (ArtsHub). I have to agree, it was absolutely brilliant! A really fun night out at the theatre! I wasn't always the biggest lover of musicals, but this story features more than 20 of her iconic songs, including Simply the Best, What’s Love Got to Do with It and Proud Mary.
Tina Turner had a massive contribution to music. As an iconic music artist and performer, her influence on fellow artists and her inspiration to generations who followed, is legendary.
Through her life story and her music, Tina Turner inspired and taught so many people around the world to find strength from within. Her tragic death last year, makes this a perfect time to see TINA: The Tina Turner Musical.
The musical is a truly celebration of this exceptional woman, and we continue to celebrate her life, her talent and her joy. Her legacy lives on, with her songs, these talented performers and the audiences reaction to the show.
This was truly a wonderful night out at the theatre. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!
