Sunday Spotlight, on Saturday*: Grouplove

From LA it's Grouplove, their fourth album Healer was released on Friday, following their 2016 Big Mess.

I first heard me some Grouplove with the single Tongue Tied back in 2011. Oh 2011, those were much easier times, less fear and panic. You could even get toilet paper at your local Aldi.

Grouplove are five piece Hannah Hooper, Chris Zucconi, Andrew Wessen, Daniel Gleason and
Benjamin Homola.

The groups biggest song to date in Australia is still Tongue Tied from their 2011 debut, Never Trust a Happy Song, the single went on to sell over 35,000 copies. The album reached number 21 in Australia whilst selling over 80,000 in the USA.

Grouplove are set to return to Australia to play Splendour in the Grass, so exciting! Hoping the event does still go ahead for all the Byron Bay kids.

Grouplove continuing the give us some indie vibes. So take in their new album Healer below or go back to a favourite classic cut.

* Posted a day early due to being on board a cruise, YASS! Next week a very special Sunday Spotlight returns to Sunday, stay tuned and Ocean Grove will be your local feature album all next week. Cheers.
